Coaching

You don’t need more advice. You need someone in your corner.

The weight of leadership isn’t just professional, it’s personal. The decisions that keep you up at night, the conversations you’re not sure how to start, the tension between who you are and what the role demands. You feel it all. And most of the time, you carry it alone.

Tandem’s coaching gives you something rare: a place where you can think out loud, be honest about what’s hard, and walk away clearer, steadier, and more certain of yourself than when you walked in. We work with CEOs, founders, and senior leaders who don’t need motivation, they need a partner who sees the full picture and helps them lead from it.

What it actually feels like to work with us

The goal isn’t insight for its own sake. The goal is that you leave every session more grounded, more clear, and more like the leader you actually want to be.

This is for the leader who feels it all

You don’t need a pep talk. You need someone who gets it — the loneliness of the role, the pressure of decisions that ripple through everyone around you, and the quiet question of whether you’re getting it right. Our coaching is designed for leaders who are:

  • Carrying decisions that shape the trajectory of the business and the lives of the people in it

  • Navigating complexity, growth, or change without a clear playbook

  • Holding responsibility that cannot be delegated and rarely gets acknowledged

  • Leading teams where alignment matters more than consensus

Coaching creates clarity where noise and urgency tend to take over. It gives you agency, safety, and permission to lead like yourself.

We don’t coach from a textbook. We coach inside your real life. The decision you’re wrestling with this week, the conversation you’ve been avoiding, the tension that won’t resolve on its own. Sessions are grounded in what’s actually happening, and the work often centers on:

  • Making high-stakes decisions when the pressure is real and the answers aren’t obvious

  • Gaining clarity on your role and how you want to show up in it

  • Navigating the hard conversations, the ones that change everything

  • Turning strategy into people decisions that actually stick

  • Leading through growth, change, or uncertainty, without losing yourself in the process

Coaching Offerings

  • One-on-one coaching for CEOs and senior leaders navigating complexity, growth, or high-stakes responsibility. Sessions focus on clarity, decision quality, and leadership effectiveness in real time.

  • Coaching for senior teams who need stronger alignment, clearer ownership, and more effective decision-making together. This work addresses how the team thinks, decides, and leads as a unit.

  • Coaching for leaders stepping into expanded responsibility. Focused on judgment, communication, and operating effectively as the scope of influence grows.

Our Coaches

Every coach at Tandem works from the same core belief: that leadership is personal, and the work should feel that way. Each coach brings their own strengths and style, but what connects them is a shared commitment to holding space with honesty, warmth, and an unwavering focus on who you are, not just what you do.

She works with leaders navigating growth and transition — helping them explore what’s possible with curiosity and courage, then translate that insight into real, meaningful action. Her clients describe her as someone who sees what you can’t yet see in yourself.

Erika is a Certified Co-Active Coach (CPCC) specializing in working with leaders and high-potential individuals ready to step into their next chapter.

Shannon Bevers

Shannon founded Tandem because she believes leaders deserve more than a sounding board — they deserve someone who holds the thread of who they are, even when they’ve lost it themselves. She works with CEOs and senior leadership teams, and her clients will tell you: she asks the question you didn’t know you needed and leaves you more certain of yourself than when you walked in.

Shannon is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC & CPCC) and a Practitioner of The Leadership Circle Profile & Insights Discovery.

  • Coaching is a dynamic and collaborative process designed to help individuals or teams unlock their potential and achieve specific goals. As coaches, we provide guidance, support, and encouragement to empower you to discover solutions and maximize performance.

In focusing on your present and future rather than dwelling on the past, we will help you clarify your objectives, identify obstacles, and develop action plans to move forward.

Coaching can be applied in various contexts, including personal development, career advancement, leadership skills, business performance, and overall well-being. It is a confidential and non-judgmental space where you can explore ideas, challenges, and aspirations.

  • Coaching is a highly individualized process and while specific benefits experienced will vary from person to person, the benefits below encapsulate the transformative power of coaching.

Clarity and Goal Achievement: One of the primary benefits of coaching is gaining clarity about one's goals and developing a clear roadmap to achieve them. Coaches help individuals explore their aspirations, values, and priorities, enabling them to define meaningful and achievable objectives. By breaking down goals into actionable steps, coaching supports individuals in staying focused, accountable, and motivated to make progress and achieve desired outcomes.

Self-Discovery and Personal Growth: Coaching facilitates self-discovery and personal growth by promoting self-awareness, exploring beliefs and values, and identifying strengths and areas for development. Through introspection and guided reflection, individuals gain deeper insights into their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. This increased self-awareness helps individuals build confidence, enhance resilience, and develop a better understanding of their own motivations and aspirations. Coaching empowers individuals to expand their comfort zones, challenge limiting beliefs, and unlock their full potential.

Improved Performance and Results: Coaching is known for its ability to enhance performance and deliver tangible results. Coaches provide support, guidance, and feedback to help individuals optimize their performance, leverage strengths, and address areas for improvement. By identifying and removing obstacles, coaching enables individuals to overcome challenges, enhance skills, and achieve higher levels of productivity and success. The accountability and encouragement provided by the coach contribute to sustained progress and positive outcomes.

  • The Co-Active coaching method distinguishes itself from other coaching methods by its core principles and focus on partnership between the coach and the coachee. Co-active coaching is grounded in the co-active philosophy, which emphasizes that the coachee is naturally creative, resourceful, and whole.

It recognizes that the coachee possesses the answers and solutions within themselves, and the coach's role is to support and facilitate the coachee's self-discovery and growth.

This partnership-oriented approach sets co-active coaching apart from more directive coaching methods that may involve the coach providing advice or solutions.
